Ontario Tech acknowledges the lands and people of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation.

We are thankful to be welcome on these lands in friendship. The lands we are situated on are covered by the Williams Treaties and are the traditional territory of the Mississaugas, a branch of the greater Anishinaabeg Nation, including Algonquin, Ojibway, Odawa and Pottawatomi. These lands remain home to many Indigenous nations and peoples.

We acknowledge this land out of respect for the Indigenous nations who have cared for Turtle Island, also called North America, from before the arrival of settler peoples until this day. Most importantly, we acknowledge that the history of these lands has been tainted by poor treatment and a lack of friendship with the First Nations who call them home.

This history is something we are all affected by because we are all treaty people in Canada. We all have a shared history to reflect on, and each of us is affected by this history in different ways. Our past defines our present, but if we move forward as friends and allies, then it does not have to define our future.

Your Alumni Office is here to support you at all stages of your educational and professional career after you graduate. However, some of the services available to alumni are offered by other departments in the university, or by external partners.   

We frequently receive inquiries about the following services and opportunities: 

Transcript requests

The Registrar's Office processes all transcript requests. Information about how to request an official transcript of academic record from the university can be found on their records and scheduling website

If you are applying to another Ontario university, you must order your transcript online through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre. All other transcript requests can be made online through your MyCampus account. To do so you will need your Banner ID and password.

  • If you no longer have access to MyCampus due to lack of recent use, please contact the Service Desk at 1 905 721 8668 x 3333 to have your password reset. 
  • If you do not remember your Banner ID, please email alumni@ontariotechu.ca with your name and graduation year. 

Career Centre services and mentorship opportunities

As an Ontario Tech alumni, you have lifelong access to the university’s career centre. They can help with resume writing, networking skills, etc. A good place to start would be to schedule an appointment with Career Counselling: careercounselling@ontariotechu.ca.  

You also have access to Student Life’s job portal, where jobs are posted regularly. Doing well in your field? Consider posting jobs on the portal for the students and alumni following in your footsteps. 

 You may also want to sign up for the Ontario Tech Hub – an online mentorship platform connecting students and alumni, or alumni and alumni. Powered by Ten Thousand Coffees, and supported by RBC Future Launch, the Ontario Tech Hub pilot is an exclusive networking and mentoring platform that introduces you to alumni and students based on specific career interests and goals. 

Library access

Alumni enjoy a free lifetime membership to the campus libraries. Show your alumni card to borrow most regular items: up to 10 items for a 14-day loan period. In addition, you have free in-library access to magazines, journals and annual reports, as well as online periodical indexes and databases. More information can be found at ontariotechu.ca/library
